The Last Word.

a blog by grace ayers brewer

It’s a little bit funny this feeling inside
I’m not one of those who can easily hide
I don’t have much money but boy if I did
I’d buy a big house where we both could liveIf I was a sculptor, but then again, no
Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show
I know it’s not much but it’s the best I can do
My gift is my song and this one’s for youAnd you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it’s done
I hope you don’t mind
I hope you don’t mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you’re in the worldI sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses well they’ve got me quite cross
But the sun’s been quite kind while I wrote this song
It’s for people like you that keep it turned onSo excuse me forgetting but these things I do
You see I’ve forgotten if they’re green or they’re blue
Anyway the thing is what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I’ve ever seen

azzastumbldrambles:

Proenza Schouler Pre Fall 2009. This is an old collection, but im just making a point that Proenza is and will always continue to be on of my favourite designers out there. The way that every look from their collections is always put together with such thought in such a crisp way, yet manages to look super effortless is impeccable! What a great colour palette for a Pre Fall collection!

kept seeing this strange still shot of a youtube video posted on facebook. Come to find out it’s none other than Thom York. Best. Surprise. Ever.

vogue covers

Curator: Long Live McQueen

I discovered these a few weeks ago and was absolutely floored! This is what appears when you layer each of Vogue’s 12 covers on top of each other. They are separated by country, each with its own 12 or so covers for 2010. People claim to see the Virgin Mary in some covers and others see mermaids? What do you see?

US is above, then alphabetical from Left to Right below: Deutsch Australia, Brazil, China, Espana, Italia, Mexico, Nippon, Paris, Portugal, Russia, and UK.
